DESCRIPTION:Discovering Biblical Clarity in a Sexually-Confused World \nTopics: \n\nA THEOLOGY OF THE BODY\nTHE BROKEN IMAGE: How sin can impact our sexuality\nIDENTITY DISRUPTED: How sin can impact our understanding of gender\n\nTHE BIBLE AND HOMOSEXUALITY: An examination of the scriptures that relate to homosexual behavior \nDiscovering Biblical clarity in a sexually-confused world\nGod’s original creative act included distinctions: between light\nand dark\, between heavens and earth\, between God and\ncreation\, and between male and female. These distinctions are\ngood\, and the loss of distinction in any area leads to confusion.\nBased on this understanding\, Distinctions is designed to\nempower the local church to form an educated\, biblical\, and\ncompassionate response to gender and sexual confusion. The\nseminar will educate participants with a biblical\nunderstanding of homosexuality and equip them with\npractical tools to reach out to individuals who struggle with\nsame-sex attractions or identify as gay. Participants will also\nhear encouraging testimonies that give proof of God’s\ntransforming power.\nGod’s plan of distinction brings clarity to our mind\, hope to our\nheart\, and life to our spirit.
